Several individuals who fell victim to fraud have collectively initiated legal proceedings against Pedro. The issuance of the first arrest warrant against him occurred recently.
The Fraud
Pedro Mourato defrauded another victim by engaging in a Bitcoin crypto scam. The victim believed they were buying Bitcoin by being shown a fake crypto wallet, only to realise Pedro ran off with the money. The victim filed a police report with an arrest warrant to follow, and they are currently trying to locate Pedro to make him accountable for his again fraud.
